NPFL: Nasarawa United pumped up for FC Ifeanyi Ubah test – Ndala

The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) continues as Nasarawa United take a long trip to Nnewi to book a date with FC Ifeanyi Uba on day 2

 

 

After ending a stretch of not winning an opening match for more than 3 seasons when they defeated Abia Warriors 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa United will fancy their chances as they come up against an Ifeanyi Uba side that drew 0-0 away to Plateau United in one of the match day one group B fixtures in Jos.

 

Speaking ahead of the tie, mercurial midfielder Isah Ndala has revealed that United are battle ready to take everything to the Anambra warriors on match day.

“We lost narrowly to them the last time we came, the loss was a bitter pill to swallow as we outplayed them on their turf thereby we will play our game then hope we secure the full points, he disclosed.”

Having lost the services of key players like Thomas Zenke (Enyimba), Suraj Ayeleso (Kano Pillars), Seun Sogbeso (Sunshine stars), Sulieman Mohammed (Wikki Tourist) and Ishaya Anyu (Gombe United), the Solid Miners as Nasarawa United are widely known however brought in the services of Abubakar Lawal, Attah Kadiri, Bello Abubakar, Subaru Adeiza and Friday Achimogwu to replace the departed players.

On his targets this season, Ndala disclosed that winning the title tops his lists of priorities as nothing is impossible.

“This season we have the influx of young and energetic players who are ready to make their names in the round leather game, with their zeal I believe we have what it takes to win the NPFL title come the end of the season,” Ndala concluded.
