At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Rangers defeated Plateau United 2-0, with Chidozie Iwundu scoring on the stroke of halftime before Chidiebere Nwobodo sealed the win in the 80th minute.
In Ibadan, Shooting Stars and Ikorodu City shared the spoils in a 1-1 Southwest Derby thriller.
Sodiq Ibrahim opened the scoring early for 3SC, but Shola Adelani restored parity just before halftime.
In Katsina, the Northwest Derby ended in favour of Katsina United, who edged Kano Pillars 1-0 through Azeez Falolu’s decisive 86th-minute strike.
Elsewhere, Remo Stars made it back-to-back victories after securing their first home win of the campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Wolves.
Samson Olasupo’s 77th-minute effort made the difference as Warri Wolves tasted defeat for the first time this season.
Niger Tornadoes also claimed maximum points, defeating Bayelsa United 1-0 via Ismail Sarki’s 27th-minute goal.
Kwara United secured their first win of the campaign after a convincing 2-0 win over Kun Khalifat in Ilorin.
Johnmark Shirsha and Emeka Kingsley Obiorah’s goals made the difference for the Afonja Warriors.
El-Kanemi Warriors and Rivers United cancelled each other out in a goalless stalemate.
Barau FC drew 1-1 with Bendel Insurance, thanks to Yahaya Ibrahim’s equaliser after Alex Oweilayefa had given Insurance the lead.
Wikki Tourists secured a 1-0 win over Abia Warriors courtesy of Jonathan Mairiga scoring late goal.
