Kano Pillars delivered a commanding performance to defeat Nasarawa United 3–0 in their Nigeria Professional Football League Matchday 19 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The Sai Masu Gida took control of the contest early, breaking the deadlock in the 23rd minute through Mustapha Umar, whose pace, vision, and composure set the tone for the afternoon.

Pillars doubled their advantage in the 68th minute when Chidozie Jude Okorie produced a moment of brilliance, delicately chipping the goalkeeper after a perfectly timed run. The goal was set up by a sublime assist from Mustapha Jibrin.

The hosts sealed the emphatic victory in the 72nd minute, as Mustapha Jibrin added a third. The move began with Jibrin himself, Rabiu Ali delivered a pinpoint pass, and Mustapha Umar provided the final touch, completing a flawless attacking sequence.

Chidozie Jude Okorie was later named the Sai Masu Gida Fans’ Player of the Match, voted by SWAN, after an outstanding display that included a goal and an assist.
Reacting after the game, head coach Mohammed Babaganaru expressed his appreciation to the fans for their unwavering support.
