Week 4 of the Nigerian Professional Football League saw action across the country as hostilities resumed again in the midweek fixtures.
Katsina United defeated northern rivals Wikki Tourists of Bau chi by a lone goal. It was a long day for the home fans who waited until the final minute of normal time before Sheriff Bashir scored to snatch all three points for the host.
In Akure, Sunshine Stars FC were held to a 1-1 by Rivers United, who picked a point away from home.

At the Agege Township stadium in Lagos, MFM FC played host to Enugu Rangers and won the game by a lone goal. The flying Antelopes, who are yet to lose a game on the continent this season, went down to a strike from Adeniji Kabir in the 23rd minute.
Former Champions Enyimba were held to a goalless draw against Lobi Stars of Makurdi at the Enyimba International stadium in Aba.
New comers Insurance FC laboured and could not find the back of the net in the goalless draw against Kwara United at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin. Making it back to back draws for the Benin City side who returned to the top flight after 11 years.
The game between Niger Tornadoes and Remo Stars ended 1-1.
