NPFL: Maikaba Worries, Hopes Team Spirit Will Translate To Winning For Rangers

Coach of Rangers International of Enugu, Abdul Makaiba has expressed worries over his team’s recent deep in form in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Rangers started the season in high hopes of wanting to be the champions of the NPFL but results are not matching up expectations.

Speaking in an interview during his team’s training session this Saturday morning, worried Maikaba commented on his side’s recent disappointing games although, he has promised the team has worked to get a three point in Jos.

“We have done everything possible to make sure we get things in order on the day of the match. Recently, we have some disappointing games. We are working seriously to improve on our performances”.

He added that a lot has been done and the spirit in the training ground is impressive but hopes the high spirit of his players will translate into a win. “Sunday will be a turning point. The players are good to go. The spirit looks high and I hope they translate it to winning against Nasarawa United.

Going into game 33 this season, Rangers have won 14 games, drawn 9, and lost 9 as well. They have put a total of 37 balls behind the net of opponents and conceding 25 in return.
