NPFL: Insurance coach to keep faith with players who aided team’s promotion as transfer market opens

Bendel Insurance of Benin head coach Baldwin Bazuaye has revealed that he will stick with the bulk of the players that helped the team gain promotion to the elite league despite calls from fans to bolster the team in all department so they can compete favorably with some of the top teams in the league.

With the transfer window open several fans of the club have called on the management to recruit more league experienced players to fill positions where the team is lacking quality but head coach of the team has insisted that he will stand with the bulk of the players that help the team gain promotion after 11 years in the lower division.

Bazuaye has called for patience for the boys as he believes they will in no time begin to bang in the goals; “People will call for that, strengthening or no strengthening these are the same players that brought this team to the premier league and they scored goals we only need a little patience and things will start working the way we want it because we are also working on it.”

With Insurance scheduled to face Katsina United on Wednesday after playing their match against Lobi on Monday, the coach has called for the LMC to put things in order because the players are fatigued. “Remember that these boys are tired, we are tired. The four teams that came from the NNL have played a whole lot of matches and they need rest.

Tomorrow we will be on our way to Katsina so it’s not easy for these boys but that’s not an excuse because if it is a league that is well organized we won’t be going through these we are all human beings.”
