The Nigeria Premier Football League has given Ikorodu City FC only forty eight hours to respond after Plateau United submitted a petition alleging serious breaches during their Matchday 13 encounter in Lagos.
Plateau United accused Ikorodu City of disrupting their pre-match warm-up, ignoring Lagos FA directives, and failing to provide adequate matchday security.

The club was also alleged to have allowed harassment, intimidation, and physical assault on Plateau United players and officials within the stadium.
The petition further claims senior Ikorodu City officials may have influenced or enabled some of the alleged misconduct.
The NPFL has directed Ikorodu City to submit a detailed written response within 48 hours.
Failure to respond, the league warned, will be treated as an admission of guilt and may attract sanctions under the NPFL Framework and Rules.
Ikorodu City defeated Plateau United 2-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos last Sunday to mount the summit of the NPFL table.
