Coach of MFM Fc, Gabriel Olalekan has assured Lagos fans and supporters that MFM Fc have returned to their normal playing style,’ Tiki Taka’, and won’t be relegated this season.
Rumors have been flying around that the Odukoya’s boys might just be playing in the NNL come next season, after a poor first half of the season. But with (4) wins from their last (5) games, Gabriel Olalekan’s side has now turned the corner, from fighting against the drop to hoping to finish very much higher in the table.
In a chat with Sports 247, the passionate football tactician reassures Lagos fans and supporters that the Odukoya boys wouldn’t go down this season, no matter what, because he believes in the Club’s management, coaching crew, the players, and everyone around the club, stating that everyone is ready to work very hard to ensure a great season for MFM Fc.
“Firstly, I will like to give God all the Glory, also MFM wouldn’t be among the clubs to be relegated this season, because I believe in God, the Management Team, the Coaching crew working with me, as well as the players too”.
“My players are very good players, inside and outside the pitch of play, they are great listeners of instructions and are ready to work very hard for this great club (MFM Fc). With all these things being put together, that is why you can see us playing our normal ‘Tiki Taka’ that MFM is used to, right from the days of Fidelis Ilechukwu and everything being equal, we can’t be relegated”, he stated.
MFM FC are 9th currently on the NPFL table after amassing four wins from their last five (5) in the League.
