Nigeria Premier Football League side Kano Pillars have officially unveiled highly respected tactician Daniel Ogunmodede, popularly known as “Ijaball,” as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The unveiling ceremony took place at the club’s secretariat in the presence of Chairman Alhaji Ahmad Musbahu Garo, marking the beginning of a new era for the four-time NPFL champions.
Sports247 reports that Ogunmodede arrives with an impressive coaching pedigree and a reputation for implementing an attractive, possession-based style of football that has earned him widespread recognition in Nigerian football circles.
The club expressed confidence that the experienced coach possesses the leadership, tactical acumen, and winning mentality required to guide the Sai Masu Gida back to competing for major honours in the forthcoming campaign.
