NPFL: Boboye envisages tough tie against Niger Tornadoes FC

Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye has predicted a tough game against Niger Tornadoes FC.

The Sky Blue Stars and the Ikon Allah Boys will go head to head at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna in one of match day group A fixtures in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Speaking with RSFC Media, Boboye says he is hopeful and optimistic that his young squad will get atleast a point against the host tomorrow.

“It’s going to be a though game because every team is preparing to make sure that they win either home or away, some people came to our home ground to deny us of our three points and that’s what we are hopeful of doing, coming to deny them of their three points as well.

” Yes, I see us taking away something here tomorrow but the only challenge I think I have with the team is that the players have not realised they are in the NPFL now, some are still playing as if they are still in the NNL.

“The maturity is not hundred percent yet but it is something we can talk to them all over to make them know the importance of each game in NPFL. Moreover, it’s an abridged league, so if we don’t take our games on time, our agreement as a team playing in the continent might not be achieved.

“We shouldn’t have any home, wherever we find ourselves should be called a home and it’s for us to show people that we are ready to play and win games. To be a champion, we must think of winning something outside not only depending on our home games alone.” He concluded.
