NPFL: BLAME ME FOR REMO STARS POOR SHOWING – KENNEDY BOBOYE

Nigeria Professional Football League side and relegation threatened Remo Stars have again made it low following the sensational claim by its Coach Kennedy Boboye, that his team’s recent string of poor results should be attributed to his tactical approach, sports247.ng reports.

Former Plateau United handler Boboye who won the NPFL title in 2017 later revealed to sports247.ng he was hoodwinked into thinking he had a great squad of players ahead of the 2019 season, but has been practically down by the belief.

Boboye though accepts responsibility for the club’s current position in the league table; second from bottom with survival in the topflight hanging by a thread.

‘Actually, I take responsibility for anything that’s happening in Remo Stars because I can and met players on ground. I was asked to recruit players, but when I saw them play in Aba I was impressed with the way they played and I said I can work with these ones.

‘But it was a flash in pan, with what’s happening to Remo Stars now,’ the coach told sports247.ng
