NPFL: Bala wants more from Kwara United attackers

Kwara United manager Abubakar Bala admits he is happy with the management of his club, but feels his attackers need to be more potent.

The Harmony Warriors have the second worst attack in the league this season, having scored just 11 goals in 16 matches.

“Our problems here is to improve on our finishing and be able to take our chances when needed,” Bala stated.

On his players welfare, he said: “Welfare issue is a common issue in the NPFL, but I can confirm to you that there is nothing of such here at Kwara.

“Here in Kwara, we are okay, players bonuses and salaries are paid as at when due.”

Kwara United will face ABS FC in the final of the State FA Cup this weekend, after beating Kwara Football Academy (KFA) 1-0 in the semifinal.

Meanwhile, Bala’s men are ninth in Group A of the league standings, with 19 points from 16 games.
