Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan claims a 2-0 comfortable victory against Abia Warriors on Matchday-9 in the Nigeria Premier Football League at Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
Abia Warriors, managed by Imama Amapakabo arrive in Ibadan fresh off 2-0 win over Elkanemi Warriors. Their counter counter attacking style has been impressive but not quite well in a trip down to Ibadan.

Ayobami Junior opened the scoring in the 22nd minutes, seperate the sides in the first half to push 3SC ahead against the warriors. Qamar Adegoke makes it two for the Oluyole Warriors in the 86th minutes from an assist from Ismail Ayodele.
The visitors launched several attacks to peg back the host, who had goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal to thank for pulling off several saves.
The win also marked a push to the second position on the table for Shooting Stars coach, Nurudeen Aweroro
