Members of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, who are on duty for the Week 4 Matches of the Nigeria Premier League have been enjoined not to lose the watchword of the season which focuses on upright decisions.

NRA President, Otunba Tade Azeez gave this reminder after a review of the matches played so far since the league commenced this year.

Otunba Tade Azeez who said that the NRA is reviewing performances of its members involved in the league, reiterated the position of the association on perfect officiating. He said that the NRA is working in tandem with the NIgeria Football Federation, NFF, through the Referees Committee to ensure quality officiating at the domestic scene.

Another interesting encounter in Uyo today will see another trusted arbiter from Benue Council, Iyorhe Ephraim alongside Mark Orduen of Kaduna and Akinola Tosin of Ekiti take charge of the Dakkada vs Rivers United Match under the supervision of the chairman of Ondo State Referees Council, Comrade Fidelis Fabidun.

One of the must watch games involving another Uyo side, Akwa United against Plateau United has Mojeed Oluwatobi of Ogun at the centre supported on the lines by Orioha Chukwuemeka and Ikponwosa Imuetiyen of Abia and Edo State councils respectively. Chairman of Delta State Council Dimas Ejoor is the Assessor.

As Rangers go visiting Niger Tornadoes, a lawyer of the Delta State Council, Ibodor Ovie will use the necessary refereeing tools to control the game while Bauchi’s Abdulahi Shuaibu and Femi Akomolafe of Ekiti will use the flags to support him on the lines.
