It was a moment of joy for Isiaq Ogundare after scoring one of the two goals that gave Dakkada FC victory over Enyimba International FC on match day 37.
The former Joy Cometh FC captain, moved to the NPFL side Dakkada FC during the mid-season of 2021/22.
In an interview with sports247.ng, Isiaq, revealed that the game was a tough one for Dakkada FC as it was an away game for them and playing against the most decorated club in Nigeria that is being tutored by ex-international Finidi George who happens to be a member of the coach crew of the national team.
Isiaq further reveals, that the away win has boosted their chances of not going on relegation to the lower league.
“Our next game is home to sunshine stars of Akure which is a must win for us to stay comfortable on the log with whatever happens at other centres .
The last round of matches to end the season comes up on Sunday 17th of July 2022.
