NPFL 2020/21: Stone, Ali top goals scorers’ chart

Ahead of NPFL 20/21 season match day 5, the goal scorers are getting thier scoring boots ready ahead for the match day.

With 73 goals scored already in 4 match days, the race for the golden boot is ready shaping up as the strikers are responding well to their responsibilities.

Jointly topping the goal scorer’s chart are Stone Samuel of Jigawa Golden Stars, Lobi Stars’ Martins Ossy and the old legs of Kano Pillars’ captain, Rabiu Ali.

The trio netted on match day 4 with Stone scorimg twice in Aba against Abia Warriors to triple his goal tally for the season.

The front runners are closely followed by
Fortune Omoniwari, Israel Abia and Ndifreke Effiong who have scored twice this season.

Heartland’s Shedrack Oghali, Reuben Nicodemus of Nassarawa United and Warri Wolves’ Uche Iruhialam have also scored 2 goals each.

Katsina United are also represented by Rasheed Ahmed and Boubacar Masally who have both scored twice each this season.

Enyimba’s Samad Kadiri and Nabil Yarou have netted once apiece for the Elephants.

Every team in the NPFL this season have registered at least a goal after 4 weeks of actions.

We await actions from match day 5 as we expect to see more goals to be celebrated by players and cheered by fans watching from homes.
