For members of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA assigned to handle the Week 25 NPFL matches across ten centres today, the watchword remains good officiating.
President of the NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez gave the charge while wishing the match officials best of luck and journey mercies.
According to the President, no referee should compromise the established perfect officiating standard already in place adding that strict sanctions await defaulters.
Otunba Tade Azeez noted that the NRA has no stake in the NPFL than offer of good officiating irrespective of teams on parade. He therefore enjoined the teams to play by the rules for the growth of the domestic league.
A medical doctor and premier league referee of the Anambra state council will drop the stethoscope in Anambra State University Teaching Hospital for the whistle in Jos to take charge of the Plateau Utd vs Kwara Utd encounter assisted on the lines by Moses Alayimola and Muiz Giwa of Sokoto and Lagos Councils respectively.

The NRA Auditor, Dantsoho M.S of the Kaduna Council is the Assessor of the game; Nassarawa United vs Akwa United, where an Owerri based building engineer, Uche Nwaegbe will handle alongside FIFA Abdulmajeed Usman ( Oyo) and Awal Usman ( Gombe) while the South South derby in Porthacourt; Rivers Utd vs Warri Wolves has a civil servant of the Ogun state government and Chairman of the state referees council, Obayemi Olatunbosun Ayodele at the centre.
