NORWICH 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 2: Odion Ighalo is a goal poacher – Solskjaer

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has described Nigerian forward as a goal poacher as Manchester United progress to the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup after eliminating Norwich City, in dramatic circumstances, on Saturday evening.

Ighalo scored yesterday against Norwich in United’s hard earned victory for an FA cup semi finals ticket.

In his post match conference, United boss was full of praise for the on-loan striker.

“He’s got one eye on the ball and probably one eye on is the keeper [Tim Krul] coming to smash him and is the defender coming to smash him, so well done. He was involved with the second goal as well and that was great reactions by Harry. You can expect him maybe being in there heading it, but that’s a proper poacher’s goal.”

On how Ighalo has brought more options for him to rotate players, Solskjaer said “It is great to have the option. Odion Ighalo gives me a chance to rotate and he is a proven goalscorer and played his part. He is a great person to have around the dressing room too.”

Odion Ighalo has now scored in every game he has started for the red devils taking his total number of goals to 5.
