North Central Volleyball Classics: Its A Win Or Burst For Plateau State As Kogi State Defy All Odds To Emerge Favourites In The Finals Today

Pre-tournament favorites, Plateau State male and female Volleyball teams have an uphill task if they must prove bookmakers right as teams to beat to emerge winners of the North Central Volleyball Classics taking place at the Indoor Sports Complex, Rayfield, Jos.

The highly-rated Plateau Rocks, as the Plateau State Volleyball team is known, surprisingly fell to an Abuja Volleyball team, FCT Spikers by 3 sets to nothing on Wednesday in the presence of a Kogi State team they must beat to emerge champions today.

Plateau State male Volleyball team armed to the teeth with some foreign-based and established professionals like Arinze Nwachukwu(Based in Turkey), Pwajok Gyang, and Izu Nwachukwu, among others, must beat Kogi State Volleyball team by 3 sets to nothing(3-0) to emerge champions and win the mouthwatering cash prize and the giant trophy at stake.

Kogi State male Volleyball team had earlier defeated Abuja, Nasarawa, and the Benue States, while Plateau State overcame Nasarawa and Benue States before they fell to the firepower of the boys from the FCT.
The very important epic game is slated for 2 pm today.

It will be the same two States that will slug it out for the bragging rights in the female category as both Plateau State Female Volleyball team, Plateau Rocks, confront Kogi State Female Volleyball team in a make or mar encounter to know the eventual champions.

The Hajia Rakiya Mohammed Wase tutored the Plateau State Female Volleyball team, with 5 points, must beat a Kogi State Female Volleyball team with 6 points to emerge champions.

This important game that promises to be interesting, will kick off by 9 am this morning.
