Arsenal of England’s Nigeran-born winger, Noni Madueke has disclosed that he loves playing at his club’s home ground – Emirates Stadium – because he is motivated by the chants of their supporters, Sports247 reports.

Latest comments by the England international with Nigerian parents have doused speculation that he might be feeling regrets over his arrival in the summer, as The Gunners’ fans never approved his signing.

A lot of controversy ensued when the 23-year-old wideman exchanged West London for the North side of England’s capital, as he joined Arsenal from their London rivals, Chelsea for £48.5m.

Arsenal fans openly showed that they were not happy with Madueke’s signing, and over 5,000 of the club’s supporters signed a petition for The Gunners’ top brass to buy a different winger.

However, Madueke is holding no grudges and declared instead that he feels the warmth of The Gunners’ fans and always enjoys their chants at the Emirates Stadium.

“It’s not just a team full of great and talented players, it’s a team full of good people,” he said. “And I think the culture around here is probably the best I’ve seen.

“In terms of the supporters, I can hear them throughout the game, pushing me on. So, God willing, that continues, because it gives me a big, big, big boost.

“I always love playing at the Emirates, I’m always looking forward to the next game where I’m back at the Emirates,” Masueke disclosed.
