No Super Eagles Player Tested Positive For Covid19, All Players Are In Good State Of Health – Ibitoye

Super Eagles’ Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye has denied the news flying around that four of the Super Eagles players in far away Austria tested positive for coronavirus.

He remarked that the general public should discountenance any reports that some of our players tested positive to COVID 19 ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game against Algeria, as it is a blatant falsehood.

The writer of the story misunderstood what coach Gernot Rohr said at the virtual press conference held a few moments ago that since the outbreak of the pandemic, four of our players had tested positive, but were all now fully recovered from the virus and back in action.

The initial report was that four Nigerian players had tested positive to the virus that had affected virtually every human activity worldwide.
