In a statement released by Ekiti United Management, “As Ekiti United host Anambra-based Edel FC on Sunday in a week 9 encounter of the Nigeria National Football League 2023/24, spectators and fans willing to have access to the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium being the venue of the match are to pay a token of #200 as gate fee.”

“The management, in a statement signed by the secretary, Ayodeji Olowolafe, stated that the move became imperative given the need to make the teeming fans and admirers contribute their little quota to the team.

The club Management noted that the trend is obtainable nationally and globally, hence the need for the team to key into the global standards.”

“The match, billed for 3 pm on Sunday, will see Ekiti United consolidate on its impressive 100% home record with victories in all previous matches on home ground.”

“Reports from the camp of Ekiti United FC a.k.a BAO Boys indicate that the players are ready to fire on all cylinders as the government has consistently done the needful in terms of players’ salary payment.

Ekiti United had won all their previous home matches, and another victory will put them in good stead to end the season well.”
