Retired Nigeria Super Eagles player Ifeanyi Ekwueme has said he will play for Team NNL/NFF as they face Team Delta state.
Ifeanyi Ekwueme said he needs to join force with Team NNL because of the Caliber of players in Team Delta.
Team Delta will parade the likes of former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje, retired Nigeria International Lucky Sunday, Former Warri Wolves Chairman Moses Etu, Chairman of City FC Chidi Okonkwo, Head Coach of Delta Queens Tosan Blankson, Ogo Clarkson, Dick Marvel, UEFA Coach, Dr. Wole Opatola and other players that are yet to touch down in Asaba.
The novelty match will kickoff by 9am as a curtain raiser before the NNL final on Friday 7th July 2023.
