NNL OPENER : CROWN FC SET TO ROAST BAYELSA UNITED

Its a brand new season , first game with fresh legs as the Soun Stadium in Ogbomoso on Saturday 23rd November, 2019 will be filled to the brim as the Ajilete Warriors house Bayelsa United Football Club from far away Yenagoa in the new 2019/2020 Nigeria National League opener.

Going by the high spirit of the Oyekale tutored side in the camp of the Ajilete Warriors coupled with the needed motivation from the management headed by the selfless General Manager, Mr Rollanson Odeh and with the God of soccer on their side, it is hoped that the lads will garner the needed three (3) maximum points .

Records have it that the Soun Boys frog jumped the Bayelsans by three (3) unreplied goals at the Soun Stadium in the 2017/2018 NNL season.

Gbenga Laningna put the Ajilete Warriors on the lead at the home ground of the Seasiders in the 2017/2018 return leg. The spot kick awarded to Bayelsa United was stopped by Adeniyi Adejare in goal for Crown FC until the one hundred and second minute (102m) , in a very dense downpour, when the homers equalised.

” Its the first game of the season and we know how important winning the game is to us. We are ready to crush the guests by His grace and its our belief that God’s favour will see us through. I appreciate and urge our supporters to improve in their sportsmanlike attitudes’, Wale Farayola told Crown Media.
