Beyond Limits Football Club claimed a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Gateway United in an entertaining Nigeria National League Matchday 6 encounter at Ikenne.

The hosts wasted no time in asserting their dominance, taking the lead as early as the 5th minute through a moment of individual brilliance from Precious Olaniyo.
The forward cut inside onto his favoured right foot and unleashed a stunning strike that flew beyond the reach of the Gateway United goalkeeper, sending the home fans into raptures.
Beyond Limits nearly doubled their advantage in the 19th minute when a well-worked move ended with the ball crashing against the woodwork, a warning sign Gateway United failed to heed.
The pressure eventually paid off in spectacular fashion as the hosts struck twice in quick succession. Merveille Akinocho found the net in the 31st minute before Abass Olasunkanmi added a third just a minute later, giving Beyond Limits a commanding 3–1 lead inside the opening half hour.
Gateway United, however, refused to go down without a fight. The visitors pulled one back in the 20th minute to stay in the contest and later reduced the deficit again in the 80th minute, setting up a tense finale.
Despite the late push from Gateway United, Beyond Limits held firm to secure all three points in front of their home supporters, capping off an impressive attacking display that underlined their ambition in the NNL this season.
