NNL: Kabongo, Agoye Harp On Commitment As 3SC Resume Training

Players of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, resumed training on Monday after observing the Christmas break.

Welcoming the players back, both the Team Manager and Chief coach of the Oluyole Warriors, Dimeji Lawal, and Edith Agoye seized the moment to talk to the players on the task ahead.

In his words, Kabongo as Lawal is popularly addressed, commended the players for their attitudes towards the programmes designed by the coaches, preparatory to the incoming NNL season.

He however charged them to be more professional in their approach, stressing that high-level discipline must be their watchwords in addition to their commitment.

In the same vein, Eshin, as coach Agoye is fondly called, applauded the players for returning to training as scheduled, a development he said showed they were fully focused on the big challenge.

He noted that with all indications pointing to the commencement of the NNL season soon, preparation demands more seriousness and commitment.

The team had its first training session after the Christmas break at the Cocoa Research Institute of Ibadan (CRIN) football pitch.
