NNL: Agoye Happy with Shooting Stars’ Progress

Head coach of Shooting Star s Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Edith Olumide Agoye, has expressed satisfaction with the level of the team’s preparations ahead of the 2018/19 Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

 

 

Speaking to sports247.ng moments after the Oluyole Warriors walloped FC Ebedei 4-1 in a friendly match played on Thursday, Agoye said he was happy with the prospects of the team so far.

“We have been busy preparing for the new season and I am so far happy with the way things are working accordingly.

“We have been playing series of friendly matches and I am impressed with the response of the players to training and to those tune up matches”, said the ex Gateway of Abeokuta gaffer.

Continuing, the former Shooting Stars forward hinted that “everything has been working perfectly, stressing that the players are well motivated as all their renumerations have been paid up to date.

“I can tell you specifically that we are making progress in our build up and by the time the season gets underway in March, we would be very ready”, said Agoye who assured that the Oluyole Warriors will gain promotion to the elite league at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, the Ibadan soccer lords will return to training on Tuesday.

The team has so far remained unbeaten in it’s build up matches.
