NNL: Adesina calls for calm as Osun United lose to 3sc

The President of Osun United football club, Chief Ademola Adesina has appealed to the teeming supporters and fans of the team not to lose hope following a home loss to Shooting Stars of Ibadan in the week 5 encounter of the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL), sports247.ng learns

 

According to the media officer of the Omoluabi Giants, Tajudeen Ahmad said the Osun United lost to the in-form Oluyole Warriors by a solitary goal scored by Ifegwu Ojukwu in the 76th minute of the highly explosive encounter between the two neighbouring states.

“It’s painful to everyone that we lost the game to 3sc. Our boys struggled but their best was not enough. I appealed to the people to remain calm because this is a trying period.

‘We therefore assured our supporters that all hope is not lost as we shall bounce back in the remaining fixtures and make our people happy’, said Chief Adesina.

With the victory, 3sc maintain the top spot in the group B1 with 10 points in 4 games while Osun United are bottom the log.

The Omoluabi Giants will on Saturday, 18th May, travel to Ibadan, Oyo State to face the Oluyole Warriors in the second leg holding at the Adamasingba Stadium.
