ABS Vice-Captain Tunde Adeyemi says the team is fully focused on securing back-to-back victories as ABS Ilorin FC prepare to host FC Basira on Saturday at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.
The Saraki Boys opened their campaign with a narrow 1–0 victory over Sokoto United, sealed by Jamiu Sa’ad’s decisive strike. Confidence is high within the squad, and the team is pushing to build early momentum with another strong performance.

Their visitors, FC Basira, arrive in Ilorin on the back of an impressive 3–1 win over Mighty Jets FC. The Lafia-based side showed clear attacking intent in their opening fixture and will be eager to continue their strong start.
Adeyemi expressed optimism ahead of the encounter, stressing the squad’s readiness and determination.
“We respect every opponent, but we know what we are capable of. With the support of our fans and determination from the boys, we believe we can get the win on Saturday,” he said.
