NNL 2022/23 : “We Are Going All Out”, Olisema Ekene Nero Captain, Warri Wolves FC

Ahead of Match Day 1 kick off in the 2022/2023 season in the Nigeria National League, NNL, Captain Warri Wolves FC, Olisema Ekene Nero says his side is going all out for result in their first game, an away encounter against FC One Rocket of Uyo on Saturday, March 4th, 2023.

Speaking on expectations on the match, Captain of the Warri based side, Olisema Ekene Nero in a chat with the team’s Media, said he is optimistic the team would pick up maximum points away from home.

The Centre back defender said they have resolved to take their pride of place begining from the start.

“There is a burning desire in us to explore and get the best for the season and it starts even with our first match”

“We are determined as a team and the spirit is high, so the sky is a stepping stone here”

“We are not underrating our opponents in anyway. They are familiar foe”

The Match day 1 of the Nigerian National League, Warri Wolves, drawn in the Southern Conference Group B1, will see Warri Wolves lock horns with FC One Rocket at the New Eket Stadium, Akwa Ibom.

The last time the two sides met was in Warri and it ended in a 1 – 1 draw.

The game in Eket is the NNL star fixture and the official season opener.
