NNL 2020/21: Joy Cometh’s Adewale Lasisi Laments Loss…The Referee Is Against Us

It is another round of the Nigeria National League and it is the matchday six/seven across the nation as we beam our searchlights on group B2 of the NNL.

It’s Remo Stars versus Joy Cometh and hostilities ended 1:0 in favor of the Ijebu boys as they push to consolidate on their top spot on the table, giving no room for laxity, especially when you have a team like Crown FC of Ogbomoso giving you a run for your money behind you.

Speaking with Sports247 after the game is the man of the match for Joy Cometh, Adewale Lasisi fondly called Spirit. Who registered his dismay on the officiating of the game.

” We came here having it in mind to at least, take a point but the referee is against us, I feel so bad. Well, we move onto the next game. We will keep training and perfect our statistics so we can have better results in our next games.”

When asked about the name ‘spirit’ he said ” I have been bearing that name spirit for so long, when I was about seven years someone called me spirit while I was playing and really I don’t know why he called me that but from that day on, everybody started calling me spirit. Maybe my style of play earned me that name.

Joy Cometh contently sits in the 11th position with just 5 points in six games on the log which has 15 teams. Only better than Goddoski with 4 points and Holy Arrows who sit comfortably at the bottom with just 2 points to brag with.
