Magic Stars FC have emphatically booked their place in the Nationwide League One (NLO) playoff with a dominant 5-0 victory over Smart City Feeders FC at the Lagos Legacy A Center on Matchday 8.
Needing just a draw to secure top spot in the group and a ticket to the playoffs, the Stars went one better, dismantling Smart City Feeders with a ruthless display to maintain their unbeaten record.

The match, played on Wednesday at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos, saw Magic Stars extend their tally to 22 points from eight matches, an unassailable lead with one game to spare.
The result confirms Magic Stars FC as group winners and guarantees their place in the NLO round-robin playoff, where they will face the winners from the Legacy B, Maracana A, and Maracana B zones.
The playoff, to be held in Shagamu, will determine the sole team advancing to the Nigeria National League (NNL), the second tier of Nigerian football.
The Nationwide League One (NLO) is expected to announce the playoff schedule in the coming days.
