Matchday eight of the 2022 season of the Nationwide League One Division One saw BYT Academical host Tradesafe Sport in a group A2 meeting which ended 2-1 in favour of the host.
Coach Ademola Adeshina of Tradesafe praised the opponents for their performance while condemning the officiating to an extent in an interview with Sports247ng and also stating that missed chances really affected the team.
“The game wasn’t bad as both sides did well. I love the fight from our opponents,” he said.
“Although the referee did really badly, we lost a lot of chances. We should have scored about 3-4 goals but we lost many chances, but then, the officiating spoilt the game, it was very very bad,” he added.
Tradesafe begin the second half of the season welcoming the same opponents, BYT Academical in Lagos, and hope to bounce back as the coach says the loss is behind them.
“We have put the loss behind us because we play the same thing next. Their game can’t withstand ours. We’re concentrating on our next game, returning to training and making corrections to be able to win our next game,” coach Ademola concluded.
