NLO: GreenLock FC, Coach Bola Idris part ways

Coach Bola Idris has parted ways with GreenLock FC following a series of disappointing results in the 2025 Nationwide League One (NLO), the club announced in a statement on Monday.

GreenLock FC, which began its NLO Division One campaign at the Sagamu Centre, needed to win its last two matches to secure a playoff spot but ended up drawing both games.

As a result, the team is currently placed second, behind FC Ebedei.

In the statement, the club expressed gratitude for Coach Idris’s contributions, saying, “On behalf of everyone at GreenLock FC, we would like to thank Bola Idris for his service to the club.”

The statement continued, “After thoroughly reviewing the Key Performance Index (KPI) of the squad in the last two matches, we found it to be below the standard expected from the coaching staff.

“Moving forward, the club has decided to end Coach Idris’s contract, and we wish him the very best in his future coaching career.”
