Three games, three-loss, and not even a single point earned by Emmydinho FC in the Nationwide League One so far and the team is languishing in the bottom part of the table. A 3-1 loss in the game today condemned the team to the bottom of the table and their fourth consecutive loss.
Goalscorer in the game against Gbagada FC, Abayomi Oluseye, left-back defender for Emmydinho spoke to Sports247 and lamented defensive mistakes as the cause for the lack of wins.
“(The assist for my goal) was a very good pass, I just took advantage of it to get the goal,” Oluseye said. “It’s just because of some silly mistakes, if not from the centre defence then from the goalkeeper, that is just the problem because the whole team is playing (well), just those silly mistakes,” he explained.
Looking forward to the next game, the player hoped the next game will be better and with prayers, they will pick up their first points in the league.
