NLO: Bright Ozebagbe, FC Bulmaro’s Coach Praises The Organisation of The Nationwide League One

It’s been about three weeks of action in the NLO and ticket holders and earners have mostly been decided in many of the groups, however, there are still a lot of lessons to be learnt even as finishing strong is the main goal for many clubs.

Bulmaro FC have been the closest chasers to Remo Centre Group A leaders, Destiny Boys FC of Ikorodu and coach of the side, Bright Ozegbagbei had a lot of praises for the league body organizers.

“It’s well organized, it’s a welcome development, just that the matches are so close to each other. We played about four games in five days with just one-day interval which is a lot of workload for the players. But then, we know the pandemic played a huge factor in us being in this bubble and hopefully next season we won’t be in the format,” Bright told Sports247.

Speaking after the penultimate game of the season where Bulmaro FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Iganmu FC, the coach blamed the draw on the loss of concentration as his side threw away a two-goal lead to end the game in a draw.

“The game was very much in our reach but some level of loss of concentration and the whole thing changed. This is football,” he said. “We keep doing what we have to do, we’ll finish strong in our last game hopefully and we look forward to the FA Cup,” he added.
