NLO 2022/2023: ‘We Didn’t Deserve To Lose’, Coach Ejima Da Silva Laments Okaka FC Collapse Against BYT FC Despite Valiant Outing

Coach Ejima Da Silva of Okaka FC was an unhappy man after the final whistle of the game between his side and BYT FC lamenting that they don’t deserve to lose the game after such valiant performance in the NLO 2022/2023 matchday four.

Okaka FC watched on at the touchline as his side fell to the sword of determined BYT FC with a 3-0 scoreline result much to his dissatisfaction after giving thier all.

“It was a fine performance from the boys and everyone knew that the first goal wasn’t a goal, it’s just like that goal gingered the opponent to come hard on us,” Da Silva stated in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng after the game.

“Not just that, the stress of playing NLO, LDFA and even tomorrow we are still going to play again, so all these isn’t good but that’s no excuse as we want to go back to what we did wrong and try again.”

“On our own side, it’s just fatigue and we don’t have enough squad depth and the substitutes we have are all injured, most of them are out. Some don’t okay NLO but only LDFA, so you just have to come and support the NLO while NLO in turn supports the LDFA,” he explained the situation of things within the team.

“We are second on the table on the LDFA and we are almost third here, so we will scale through,” he said assuredly.
