Edwin Essien brace gifted Sunsel Fc their first league 1-2 win against Chimoski Fc in the match day 5 of the third grade of the Nigeria football League.
Essien who registered his formidable presence, started slowly with his club Sunsel Fc in their debut NLO1 season after 4 games with no victory.
The vital win has moved Sunsel from the bottom rocked position to a floating state. However, her dependable and experienced defender, Tejiri Emonena was sent off the game in the 82nd minutes after accumulating two yellow card for himself.
Other results played in the Match Day 5 saw Joseph Fc defeating Koluma 2-0 to move back on top of the table, while Dynamite Force narrowly defeated Rolly Fc 1-0 in a local derby to move second on the Group E1 table.
Sunsel will next host Dynamite force at the Oghara Township staduim April 29th by 3pm.
