NLO 2: Baptism of Goals Delight For Coach Ayere Sylvester As Freiburgerweg FC Takes Business Atlantic FC To The Cleaners In His First Professional Coaching Game

With a German name and a German machine kind of performance, Nationwide League One Division two side, Freiburgerweg FC eased past Atlantic Business FC in Matchday one of the league to give their coach a good win on his baptism game as a professional coach.

“It’s good to start on a high note, it will be a different story if it was the other way round. A good result but I wasn’t happy with the goal we conceded as I wanted a clean sheet but it’s a good start still,” coach of Freiburgerweg Ayere Sylvester told Sports247 after the game.

The coach also spoke on the dynamism of his team and players as it was difficult to pick a standout player in the game. “It boils down to how we train. I do not train a certain starting XI, I train everybody because those on the bench are also capable of doing what those on the pitch are doing. I do not keep players for keeping sake but because they are marketable. From 3-0, I started planning for the next game as it’s a marathon and squad depth will be important and I’m happy with the commitment, discipline, and the shape of the players,” he said.

The coach also explained that the squad depth is due to the recent recruitment and despite the lapses in the game, he’s impressed with the players’ concentration levels but will however get back to work on the lapses in training.
