Nigeria’s most knowledgeable football fan set to win with 12 million with NFFC

One super football fan will have the opportunity of winning the sum of 12 million Naira in the maiden edition of the Nigeria Football Fans Challenge set to hit television screens across the country soon.

The show will see a total of 54 contestants slug it out for the grand prize of 7 million naira in cash reward and an opportunity to impact their immediate community with the sum of 5 million naira which will be used for a specific capital project.

Participating contestants will be asked questions ranging from their knowledge of foreign club football to questions concerning teams in Nigeria including Enyimba, Kano Pillars and Shooting Stars.

Reacting to the forthcoming event, Mr. Richard Ige one of the sponsors of the event revealed to www.footballlive.ng that fans who register also stand a chance of winning cash sums of up to 1 million naira weekly.

Mr. Ige also gave vivid details on the registration and selection process. “After the registration period which will last for eight weeks, we are going to have a show, before then we will pick the best of 50, 000 fans to audition and out of that number 54 people will be selected, six fans representing each of the football clubs including three from the domestic league. The winner will win the sum of 12 million naira with 5 million going to their local communities.

Also reacting to the Forthcoming show, the project coordinator Mr. Timi Ayeni gives more reason for staging the reality TV show. “The reason why we decided to come up with this project was because we stumbled on statistics that rated Nigerians as one of the craziest football supporting countries in the world and it is becoming a very big culture in the country.

Football is becoming the fastest growing culture in the country today and we felt like creating the community development angle to it which is the social impact fund where we will give out five million naira each to the top three winners to invest in their communities.”

Registration is already on for the event and will last for a total of eight weeks before the final participating fans will be selected.
