She then reeled out the long line of ideas, efforts, determination and planning that eventually crystallised into the heroics pulled off by the squad during the competition in The Land Of The Pharaohs.

The assistant gaffer added, “There are a lot of coaches and people who put in sacrifices and time to build up this team.
“They really worked hard on how the team plays. So, we are happy and excited that we are part of that journey.”

Nnaemeka Anyanwu concluded by also showering accolades on the players for how they listened to instructions and blended within a short period of time, despite being involved in other sport events as well.

Anyanwu eulogised further, as she submitted: “They really worked hard day and night. That’s why this sport is growing very fast.

“Though many of them play in other sports, they have been able to do this within limited time. They just came into this sport with might and put in their best effort. This is the result of all of that.”
