Nigerian Youths set for Abuja Robotics Laboratory – Sunday Dare

The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has joined up with leading robotics engineer in Lagos, Silas Adekunle in setting up a robotics laboratory with youth’s engagement in sight.

“In collaboration with the Ministry of Youth & Sports Development, Nigeria is set to have a robotics laboratory in Abuja that will engage our Youth”, the minister posted accompanied with a picture of Silas on his official twitter account.

With request of considering citing the center in Lagos due to large number of youths talents than Abuja in terms of nearness to support, the minister responded, “We can consider if we get the support of Lagos state, We will explore’, he affirms.


Credited for building the world’s first gaming robot, Silas is the highest paid in the field of Robotic engineering achieving this feat after signing a new deal with the world’s reputable software manufacturers, Apple Inc.
Adekunle who is currently the founder and CEO of Reach Robotics, a company developing the world’s first gaming robots will now seek to enhance the youths in background in robotics.
