Nigerian Youngster Targets A Move To Belgian Top Flight

The second division league Austria 2 Liga 20/21 season started on Friday 23rd July 2021 with a Nigerian getting on the scoresheet to earn his side a point.

20 year old Wale Musa Ali who plays for SKU Amstetten scored a goal that ensured his side ran away with a point against Team Für Wien at the Ertl Glas Stadion as the game ended 1-1.

Speaking to Sports247, the offensive player shared his excitement and plans for the current season. “I’m feeling good this season and positive about it. Honestly, my aim is to move to a first division side here or I find my way to Belgium first league which will be a very good step for me, as I view myself to be a great football player respectively,” Wale said.

“My goal is to move up. Last season wasn’t a bad one but not what I expected. This season, I am fully focused and ready for anything and positive,” he concluded.

The draw places SKU in 8th position and they next face FC Dornbirn 1913 who lost their game and find themselves down in 12th position.
