“I am in my third year in Tanzania. I first joined Young Princess and played one season, then moved to Simba Queens last season, and now I am returning to Young Princess because of the interest and goals of this club,” she said.
The striker, a former player for Nigeria’s Super Falcons, admitted that she considered offers from clubs in Cameroon and Ghana, but salary considerations and professional conditions influenced her decision to remain in Tanzania.
Christopher highlighted that her return to Young Princess is also inspired by the club’s ambitions. “The leadership has clear goals: to win the Serengeti Lite Premier League championship and participate in international competitions. That vision aligns with my own aspirations,” she added.
With her experience in both domestic and international football, Precious Christopher brings quality, composure, and attacking prowess to Young Princess, strengthening the team’s bid for domestic glory and continental exposure.
Her return marks a significant boost for the club as they prepare for the upcoming season, aiming to challenge for titles and elevate the profile of women’s football in Tanzania.
