Nigerian Striker Chinonso Offor Joins FC Baltika Kaliningrad On Four-Year Deal

Russian Premier League side FC Baltika Kaliningrad has confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Chinonso Offor from Bulgarian club Arda Kardzhali on a four-year contract.

The 25-year-old attacker, born in Jos, Nigeria, joins the Russian outfit after an impressive season in Bulgaria where he scored eight goals and provided five assists in 29 league appearances, helping Arda secure a UEFA Conference League qualifying spot.

Offor, who began his career at Real Sapphire in Nigeria, previously played in the Latvian top flight for RFS before moving to the United States in 2021, where he featured in Major League Soccer (MLS) for Chicago Fire and later CF Montréal.

He was transferred to Montréal in August 2022 before going on loan—and then permanently—to Arda Kardzhali.

His move to Baltika comes just weeks after the club secured promotion to the Russian Premier League.

Standing at 1.91 meters, Offor is expected to add physical presence and goal-scoring threat to Baltika’s attack as they prepare for life in the top tier. The deal was officially announced on June 24, 2025
