Former Bendel Insurance winger Efe Aghama made an instant impact as Cádiz claimed a commanding 3–1 win over UCAM Murcia in the Spanish Copa del Rey.
The 20-year-old Nigerian, who joined the Spanish outfit from CD Ceuta, was introduced in the second half and wasted no time showing his class. With blistering pace, sharp footwork, and fearless dribbling, Aghama tormented Murcia’s defenders and gave the Cádiz attack fresh energy.

Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, his performance drew loud applause from the home fans and left his manager impressed. Aghama’s quick adaptation and flair on the ball have made him one of Cádiz’s most exciting prospects this season.
Since arriving in Spain, Aghama — nicknamed “The Los Piratas Magician” — has continued to grow in confidence, with his creativity and attacking instinct standing out in training and in competitive fixtures.
For Cádiz supporters, the young Nigerian’s rise offers plenty of promise. If his recent performances are anything to go by, it won’t be long before Aghama cements his place as one of the brightest emerging wingers in Spanish football.
