Nigerian forward Amina Omowunmi Bello has completed a move to Atlético de San Luis Femenil, joining the Liga BBVA MX Femenil side ahead of the Apertura 2025 season.
The 19-year-old talent, formerly of Naija Ratels FC and the Otero Rattlers in the United States, brings international experience to the Mexican top flight.

Bello was part of the Nigerian squad that secured third place at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India and later featured for the U-20 national team in 2023.
Announced as one of ten new signings by the club, Bello is expected to bolster San Luis’s attack with her speed, determination, and finishing ability. In her first official statement, she said she is eager to contribute to the team and make an impact in Mexico.
Atlético de San Luis Femenil is continuing its preparations for the new season with a mix of domestic and international reinforcements, aiming to improve on previous performances in the highly competitive Mexican women’s league.
