Nigerian Rising Star Edward Unuigbeje Joins KF Lushnja, Set To Spark Goal-Scoring Fireworks In Albania

Nigerian centre forward Edward Edegbai Unuigbeje has completed a move to Albanian side KF Lushnja from Latvian club Ogre United, marking a bold new step in the 20-year-old striker’s promising career.

Born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Unuigbeje has built a reputation for his physical dominance, goal-scoring instincts, and attacking flair. Standing at 1.97 meters, he first made his mark in Latvia’s 1. Liga with Skanste during the 2023/24 season, scoring 13 goals in 25 appearances. He later joined Ogre United in early 2025, continuing to grow his game with around 7 appearances and 1 goal.
