Nigerian left-back Isaac Afolabi has officially joined Albanian side KF Burreli, marking another important chapter in his European football journey.
Afolabi arrives at Burreli from fellow Albanian club KF Laçi, where he continued his development after making his name in Nigerian football with Abia Warriors in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The move gives the talented defender a fresh opportunity to establish himself in Albanian football and compete in the Kategoria e Parë, the country’s second tier.
Afolabi is expected to bring his defensive qualities, energy and experience to the Burreli squad as the club prepares for another competitive campaign.
Speaking after completing the move, the Nigerian defender said:
