Nigerian defender Adamu Abubakar has completed his transfer to the Ethiopian outfit Ethiopia Coffee. Adamu left Plateau United after his contract expired after spending a season with the club.
All paperwork has been certified, and his ITC has been released by the club. He signed a two year contract with Ethiopia Coffee after both agreed to personal terms.

Ethiopian Coffee Sport Club, otherwise known as Ethiopian Bunna, is a professional Ethiopian football club based in Addis Ababa. They are a member of the Ethiopian Football Federation and play in the top division of Ethiopian Football, the Ethiopian Premier League. Their home stadium is Addis Ababa Stadium.
Ethiopia Coffee S.C. lost the Ethiopian League title to Ethiopia Insurance as they finished second on the league table with 60points from 34games, 13points behind the league champions. They are planning to prepare strongly ahead of the new season 2025/2026 with a new addition to strengthening the squad.
